Hey there, I'm Kelly, the proud owner, cookie artist, and instructor here at Lemon House Cookiery!

A little about me: I'm a Jacksonville native, former school teacher, and a self-taught cookie artist. In 2014, both of our kids were off at college and my husband accepted a new position that moved us to South Florida and then Central Florida. Suddenly finding myself with some free time (a rare occurrence!), I decided to do learn something I had always been interested in - cookie decorating. Armed with supplies from Michaels and a bunch of online tutorials, I dove in, and let me tell you, I was instantly hooked!

Fast forward to 2018, and we're back in Jacksonville. That's when I officially kicked off my cookie business under the name EverSouth Bakes, taking custom orders and teaching classes. I took a brief hiatus from 2021 to 2022, but I'm thrilled to be back with a fresh start and a new name, Lemon House Cookiery!

Wondering about the name? Well, my signature flavor is a Lemon sugar cookie. I work out of my House as a homebased baker under the Florida Cottage Food Law. I am not really a bakery because I specialized in cookies, so I am a Cookiery.
